What the night looks like
Doors at seven, password at the door. Come dressed for 1926 if you like — flapper, pinstripe, or just your good jacket.
Casino tables
Blackjack, roulette, poker and craps, run by dealers all evening. Chips come with your ticket.
Cocktails & bites
Period cocktails at the bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres circulating all night.
Silent auction & raffle
Neighborhood-donated packages, experiences and prizes — bid from your table.
Live entertainment
Music, dancing, and a stage program — plus a few surprises we’re not printing here.
A $40,000 night for the neighborhood
Casino Night is a fundraiser first. What we raise on October 2 goes directly into the programs neighbors actually see — the boulevard, the parks, the constable patrol, the home tour, and the small grants we make each spring.
More than 150 residents and guests are expected. The Houston Heights Association is a volunteer-led nonprofit, and this is one of the few nights a year the whole neighborhood is in one room.
