The 34th Annual Heights Fun Run last Saturday was a record-setting one as we had our most ever participants, with over 2,000 registered runners/walkers. This cherished tradition—which now draws runners from all over Houston and beyond—raises valuable money for HHA programs and property management. It was a beautiful, sunny June morning and the USA Track & Field-certified 5K & 10K courses down scenic Heights Boulevard presented all our runners with a great way to kick off the summer running season.

Scenes from the Fun Run:

Thanks to Run Wild Sports Timing for tracking the runners’ times via disposable timing chips so everyone could go for a new personal best!

  • 10K Top Male Runner: Arvin Comple
  • 10K Top Female Runner: Christy Lan
  • 10K Top Male Masters Runner: Andras Heczey
  • 10K Top Female Masters Runner: Maria P. Whitworth
