This event is broken into two parts, the community awards and the volunteer appreciation.

The community awards for Houston Heights Association recognizes recent construction or renovation in the neighborhood that improves upon the historic yet ever changing look and feel of our community’s landscape. The projects are submitted by residents through an open process, and each are scored by a panel of volunteer judges.

The volunteer awards dinner is a way to honor our past and set our intention for the future, thanking those who have helped make Houston Heights what it is today. Several volunteer awards are handed out and culminates with our Citizen of the year award. Come on out and thank the people that make this neighborhood as great as it is.
