YOU asked and WE listened!! The Houston Heights Association (HHA) is set to host its first EVER dog-focused and human-friendly event! The inaugural Heights Pup Promenade hosted by the HHA is set for April 9th from 8AM – 12PM. The Promenade will take place along Heights Boulevard and the Pup Party will take place at Marmion Park.

** Please note — this is NOT a FUN RUN!! This is a dog WALK along Heights Boulevard that will consist of (3) challenges for your pup or YOU! **

Event Information:

Get out to enjoy the Spring Weather with your favorite Pup Family or Friend! Start at any location (your home, Marmion Park, wherever!) and end at Marmion Park to mix and mingle with your favorite pup friendly community members! The Promenade will be along Heights Boulevard and completed at your leisure – take as long or little as you like when collecting stamps. Please be careful when crossing across streets and/or intersections, be sure to only cross over crosswalks and follow all roads signs. Along Heights Boulevard, we have teamed up with 3 local businesses that will ask you to complete a challenge. Upon completion of the challenge you will receive a stamp! A fully COMPLETED challenge card = Entry Ticket to the Pup Party

Be on the lookout – these local businesses may have a surprise or two for you at the challenge stops :)

• Challenge 2 – Revival Market (6th Street – Northbound)
• Challenge 3 – Greenwood King (18th Street – Southbound)

Pup Party Information:

The Pup Party is open from 8AM-12PM – come for as little or long as you like and enjoy learning about all new Pup Friendly community members!

Proceeds benefit HHA community projects. The HHA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and proceeds from the Pup Promenade go directly into the community for beautification, restoration, maintenance and education. For more information visit www.houstonheights.org
