Houston needs trees, and you can help. That’s the motto of Trees For Houston, a non-profit whose work is to plant, promote, and protect urban forestry in our city. Each year, HHA’s Urban Forestry teams up with this phenomenal organization and other community partners to give neighbors the opportunity to “adopt” and plant native trees at home in order to re-forest the area, which provides shade, mitigates run-off, and keeps the air clean and cool, all while helping preserve the historic character of the area.

This year’s Gift of Trees Day will take place Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Heights Fire Station.
