We are honored to continue serving as a Resident Blood Drive location for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center! That means we will be hosting more blood drives at the historic Houston Heights Fire Station (107 W. 12th Street 77008) in December. This blood drive will take place on Thursday, December 17 from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

All donors will receive a FREE COVID-19 Antibody test. In addition, Holiday Hugs is going virtual this year! Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is asking donors to record 10-second videos that will be uploaded to their website throughout November and December for patients and their families to view over the holidays. These videos will be QR coded and attached to adorable teddy bears that will be delivered to the patients during their holiday stay in the hospital!

As of May 11, the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is requiring all donors to wear a mask or face covering. If you don’t have one, their staff can provide you with one.
