All are invited to join us at the Houston Heights Fire Station to learn some of the secrets of Buffalo Bayou—nature, parks, art, hidden places, and living in harmony with Houston’s magical waterway. A little of what you can look forward to at this month’s meeting:

• Susan Chadwick, President & Executive Director of Save Buffalo Bayou will dig into how rivers and streams work and why they are so important.
• Trudi Smith, Director of PR and Events with Buffalo Bayou Partnership will discuss parks, wildlife, art, and activities related to Buffalo Bayou.
• We’ll learn all about the City of Houston Bike Plan.
• We’ll get a refresher on the history of the Bayou City Arts Festival, find out what’s in store this year, and you’ll have the opportunity to win tickets to this year’s festival!
• As always we’ll have kid- and adult-friendly refreshments!
