2019 14th Annual Houston Heights Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt

The one and the only original Heights Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt will be what’s happening at Marmion Park located at Heights Blvd and 18th on Saturday, October 5.

This is not a race and is open to riders of all ages. The Rally & Scavenger Hunt is designed as a casual, self-paced ride. Choose between a 15-mile course through the Heights and surrounding neighborhoods or a shorter 3-mile ride designed for children and their adult companions — or do both.

Don’t have a bike? You can borrow one at no charge from Houston Bcycle! Pick up the bike at Marmion Park the morning of the rally.

Join the new “Bikes, Bites and Beer” Kickoff Party on Friday, October 4th from 6-9 p.m. at Eureka Heights Brewery, 941 W 18th St, Houston, TX 77008.
Kick-off the 14th Annual Houston Heights Bicycle Rally and Scavenger Hunt at Eureka Heights Brewing Company. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of games, food trucks, beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic beverages. Pick up your registration packet and earn your first stamp on your rally card!

Schedule for Saturday, October 5:

9:00 AM: Rally Packet Pick-up begins, Late Registration, 15-Mile Rally Starts
2:00 PM:3-Mile Rally Starts
3:00 PM: Bicycle Rally & Scaven­ger Hunt ends — Last chance to submit rally cards & clue sheets for prizes. Bicycle Rally Party in the Park starts — Music, hot dogs, beverages, and fun!
4:00 PM: Awards Ceremony and door prize drawings (must be present to win).

Registration:

The registration fee for the 15-mile ride is $25 through September 20 and $30 through the day of the ride.

The 3-mile ride is $15 through September 20 and $20 thereafter. Online registration is now open.

We will have rider T-shirts this year, just $10 at pre-registration; $20 the day of the Rally.

Benefits:

The HHA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, and proceeds from the Bicycle Rally go directly into the community for beautification, restoration, maintenance and education.

Booth Space:
10′ x 10′ Display Booth spaces for Bicycle Rally & Scavenger Hunt, Saturday, October 5, 2019 are available. Please bring your own table and chairs to set up in Marmion Park. You’re also welcome to set up your own tent for shade. Setup may begin at noon. Tents, tables and chairs must be broken down and removed by 5:30 p.m. after the event ends. Booth requests and questions may be directed to bicyclerally@houstonheights.org.
