The HHA Education Committee has a renewed focus for 2020 and a new committee chair. Diana Vining is taking the helm and she is looking for volunteers to join the committee. Diana has been a Heights-area resident for 9 years, and she has served as PTO President and Treasurer at Love Elementary.

As you may know, a portion of HHA membership dues is used to support 11 local public schools by providing them with programming and planning opportunities for the administrators that serve to strengthen the Heights feeder pattern. In addition, the committee plans to complete a needs assessment, create a marketing plan, and coordinate the annual Heights School Choice Fair in October.

The first committee meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 11 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the historic Houston Heights Fire Station, 107 W. 12th Street. Please join us if you are interested in supporting our local public schools!
