We’ll have a special presentation (exclusively for our Heights neighborhood!) by the City of Houston Parks & Recreation Department showcasing parks, programs, community centers, basketball courts, and baseball & soccer fields in the Greater Heights area. Thanks to Luci Correa (HPARD Directors Senior Staff Analyst) and Mike Eisermann (Deputy Director of Facilities Management & Development) for this presentation!

In addition, you’ll get to hear the good news about Donovan Park and the work that went into re-opening this beloved park from HHA volunteer & Board member Idalia Guerra.

Finally, Chris Silkwood, founding member of True North (the public art installation along Heights Boulevard), will share the story of the project, artists, and process that make the magic happen on Heights Boulevard.
