Programs & Committees
The Heights runs on neighbors who show up. There are three ways to do it — and all three matter.
Three Ways In
Membership is the foundation. Your dues fund the parks, the advocacy, the events, and the small grants we make to neighborhood schools each spring. Members also get voting rights and can run for the board.
Join the HHA →Every event, every clean-up, every committee is run by volunteers. You can give an afternoon for a single event, or commit to an ongoing role on a committee. We'll match you with something that fits.
Sign up to volunteer →HHA general meetings are held the second Monday of each month and are open to everyone — no membership required. Show up, hear what's happening in the neighborhood, and speak your mind. Agendas are posted on the HHA website before each meeting.
Meeting details →Volunteer
Whether you have two hours or two days a month, there's a place for you in the HHA. From setting up chairs at a general meeting to chairing a committee, volunteer roles at every level of commitment are available.
We especially need help with: event setup and breakdown, esplanade clean-up days, committee support, and outreach to new Heights residents.
Reach out and tell us a bit about yourself and what you're interested in — we'll match you with something that fits your schedule and what you care about.
"Bring your name, your block, and what's on your mind."
Ready to Help?
Send us a quick note — tell us what interests you and how much time you have. We'll get back to you with specific opportunities that fit.
Email Us to Volunteer →Or contact the committee chair directly — see the full committee list for chair contact info.
Meetings
These are general meetings — not board-only sessions. All neighbors are welcome to attend and speak. No membership required. Agendas are posted on the HHA website before each meeting.
Support the Heights
Help rebuild a beloved Heights gathering place. Donovan Park receives no city funding — every dollar comes from the community.
Donate to Donovan Park →Support the HHA's general operations — parks maintenance, advocacy work, events, and the community programs that keep the Heights whole.
Donate to the general fund →Support the Heights Boulevard Art Project. True North donations fund public art installations along the esplanade that define the character of Heights Boulevard.
Donate to True North →Join the Heights
Membership, volunteering, attending meetings, donating — it all adds up. The Heights is what we make it.
